Drop tune players, what kind tuner do you use?

I tune CGCF and would like a tuner that picks up that low C. Have a Sabine ST 1000 now which I like but it won't do that note without fretting it on the 12. Tried a SNARK clip on, which was amazing BTW, and did do the low c, but it does'nt work well in a live situation as it seems to get confused with allthe errant vibrations. I just got a CarvinBX 500 amphead and would like to utilize that handy dandy tuner out it has. Suggestions?

My ESP F-104 is often tuned to CGCF. I'm currently just using the tuner on my Boss ME-50B FX board, but previously I had decent results from a sub-50 dollar Korg chromatic tuner.

I looked into the Behringer cause I loved the idea of the built in metronome and rack light but the reviews were so bad I did'nt get one. Most reviews said it was extremly slow in tracking low notes.

Its not bad for standard tuning. I really like the light it makes my rack look like a spaceship ha. I wouldnt recommend it for drop tuning though. A 20$ korg pocket tuner does great. I like my rack tuner because it has 2 channels. Wireless receiver into channel 2 and regular cable into channel 1. so nothing has to be un plugged if i want to go with a cable or wireless at shows.

I use a small Yamaha chromatic tuner and a Korg DTR-1, both work like a dream for drop tunings (drop D). I have the Behringer and yes, it is slow in tracking low notes but those LED-rack lights compensate

My testosterone side of my personality wanted to get the Behringer for the coolness of it in my rack, but we have 4 different tunings in our show so I need to be able to switch in a hurry. Always pride myself in beating the guitards to tune. Someone has to keep the crowd interested while they fumble around.

I am using the GFS tuner which is I think 29 bucks and is the exact same as the Korg Pitchblack with blue lightning instead of Red. I tune to drop B and drop A

Good old Boss TU-2 for me. Always fast, always accurate, all the way down to B.

With a low-B 5-string bass or a 4-stringer strung BEAD its not even a race anymore. You just stand there and joke about guitarists with their novelty dental floss dispensers always needing tuning

Oh PS - sack your drummer and/or singer if you're doing the entertaining after tuning yours
