Good band, and only one of many Irsh or Scottish wanna-be folk punk bands  , if you like DKM please check out "The Real McKenzies" they are a canadian band similar to what DKM do, they also release all thier music as free downloads aswell, so no harm in giving them a listen (well i assume they still do, they used to have a list of torrents for thier albums on the website)

musicly i think Flogging Molly is better...I knew about them before DKM and have alwaysed liked them more.
DKM is a great band though there show was great and intence nothing like an hour and a half of moshing on a beer soaked |

I've heard about 10 cuts off the new record and was pretty damned impressed all around. The production level on this new one is quite a bit better than the previous stuff as well IMO.
Matt's drumming is fantasic as always too, but that's kind of a given. I'd put Matt right up there with the best of the best of Punk Drummers. |

Flogging Molly really puts on a great show and are probably my fav. in that Celt rock genere..
