My drummer and I got into a heated discussion last weekend about who we thought were great drummers. Later I realized that most of his choices tended to be guys who play 1000 BPM and drown out the rest of the band with their fills. Most of my choices were guys who are really, really solid and tasteful.
That got me to thinking about some of the greatest Rock drummers that have ever sat behind a drum kit, and which one I would most like to play a show with. My Choice was John Bonham. Who would you pick?

I've always wanted to jam with either Dave Weckl, Carter Beauford, or Chad Wackerman. Those 3 guys are some of the most amazing drummers I've heard. Steve Smith a good one too. Shoot, Tony Bozzio and Rod Morgenstein Are in the running too.
