Dual input through one set of headphones, is it possible?

Hello,

I'm hoping this is the right forum for this, apologies in advance if I am mistaken.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a way I can play a song I'm learning off of a computer or an iPod through the same set of headphones I wear coming from my amp when I practice?

I want to be able to practice later at night without disturbing anyone (apartment). At the moment I put my ipod earbuds in and then put the headphones on over top and it is pretty uncomfortable not to mention I feel like some kind of mutant with that many wires running out of my head.

Here's what I've got to work with:
• A little practice amp that has a RCA cable CD Input on the front
• The headphones which has an 1/8" jack with the 1/4" jack converter nubby thing on it,
• The ipod
• My computer, an old school Power Book that has an 1/8" jack

Would something like this work if I plugged the small jack into my ipod and then the RCA cables into the amp?

Or

Should I just say neighbors be damned and crank it up to 11 and get every last bit juice out of all ten watts? :0)

Thanks

Why can't you just run the computer/iPod signal through the CD input on your amp?

Good question I'm just not sure how to run the signal from the ipod to the amp. Would I need to get the cable I linked to or am I just missing the obvious solution?

Thanks

Yes, that cable is what you need, but I would stick with the solution that made me feel like a mutant, personally.

Thanks, I considered the mutant option but I felt the tentacles and third eye were already overkill.

Does your amp also have a headphone output and will the amp work with something plugged into both the CD input and the instrument input at the same time.

It does have a headphone output, I'm not sure if it will work with more than one input though. The amp is a Ibanez IBZ10B if that helps with the diagnosis. I looked on their website but it doesn't say one way or the other.
