I just had an exp. I wanted to share.

I recently got a bass from TBer Luckie(Thanks Again)and could find nothing about it,aside from old TB threads,in which the OP was seeking info w/no luck.

I knew it was originally owned by Steve 'The Dude' Barr of the dudepit. I sent him a message,asking for info.

He replied less than 1/2hr later,with a "known me forever" familiarity,and gave me all he knew AND a slideshow of all the pics he had of it! Beats the heck out of some stiff,generic reply w/attached spec sheet!

I just thought it was pretty cool that some people stay people,regardless of status in particular circles.The Dude abides..

That body construction and pickup layout say "Matsu" to me. Thought so. Nice basses, well made.
