Every once in a while, when I use the search function, I run across an old thread from TB's early days. Not only is the subject here fascinating, but I don't recognize a single name. I wonder if any of them are still around? Types of people who play bass (and other instruments)

It was trademarked as DUCT tape by a guy who needed to make money. And when they used it in a grey color to wrap duct tape, that seemed to be one use for it.
But it's DUCK TAPE.

It can be called either, but some guy on the internet in the year 2000 basically asserts that anyone who doesn't call it what HE calls it, he must be superior.
