Most Kiss tunes from the 80's. Pick the root note and play 8ths.

Any song from Metallica's ...And Justice For All album. All you have to do is turn your volume all the way down and play whatever you want.

When my daughter was 9 years old, she wanted to learn to play bass. She wanted to play along with a song. The first one I taught her was "Lick It Up" by KISS and the second was "Rock You Like A Hurricane" - Scorpions....

Van Halen, Runnin' with the Devil – it's virtually a one-note song! (I think there's actually three different notes in the entire song)
