There is a ton of punk stuff that won't be terribly challenging if you play it a bit slower. Slowed down Misfits, as an example.

First song I learned on bass, and the bass and guitar more or less mirror each other. Of course the solo isn't so easy, but you can just skip that

Judas Priest's "Living After Midnight" is fun, straight-forward and typically well-received... depending on the audience, of course.
I could even imagine it being done in a stripped-down, pensive ballad style.
