Easy to learn?

I was just wondering if it was easy to learn...my best friend kinda talked me into getting one just so we can mess around in our free time. I wont get one if its super duper complicated...

So, how complicated is it?

I suppose bass is one of the easier instruments to start, and one of the harder one's to master. well id say its about as hard as anything else... just take's time and patience.

I think bass is pretty easy to start with, or atleast so when compared to most other instruments.

Alot of simple basslines are easy aswell, it really depends what kind of level you want to get to, and how much time your willing to dedicate to it.

How complicated do you want to play?

Bass is simpler to play than guitar, but that does not make it easier to play music on.
