Question An Easy Way To Record To My Computer?

Sign in to disble this ad
Without buying any extra programs or adding anything to my computer, is there anyway I can make a short and simple recording of my bass, to upload here?

Any help is, as always, greatly appreciated.

Wrong section, but i've got some help.

Just go to Radioshack and buy a 3.5mm to 1/4" cable. Plug the 3.5mm end to your sound card and the 1/4" end to your last pedal then plug into your pedalboard and bam.

I use Creative Sound Recorder which came with my comp, but I know there's other free programs available.

A good free program is Hi-Q recorder, found here.
Under recording options set the input source to line in and you can record directly to mp3.

Try Audacity for recording.
