Question Ebay dilemma.

I don't know if this should go here, but I am an Ebay n00b. So I'm trying to sell my first item but forgot to add insurance and can't find any option to include it, so what can I do? well the buyer asked me how much he could add to the final price, should I contact the postal service? and ask them if they offer it, the package will ship through priority mail.

Go to usps.com and click on the "Calculate Postage" link near the top of the page. I'm pretty sure you'll have the option to include insurance in the cost.

You have to revise your listing. When you enter into the revision page, go down to revise the payment options. You should be able to add the insurance there.

Here are the insurance rates.

Fee . . . . . . . . Insurance Coverage
$1.35 ................ $0.01 to $50
$2.30 ................ $50.01 to $100
$3.35 ................ $100.01 to $200
$4.40 ................ $200.01 to $300
$5.45 ................ $300.01 to $400
$6.50 ................ $400.01 to $500

These are online rates and if you go to your post office, they can insure your item up to $5000.
