Ebay - Ever get more than you asked for? :D

I recently ordered a set of Fender "Original" Precision pickups from ebay.

I checked the mail today and found two packages from the same dude, one containing my pickups and another containing a $50 Hammond transformer!

I just contacted the guy to let him know he sent me more than I paid for. The seller's lucky he sent me something I have no interest in...I might have been inclined to keep my mouth shut if he sent me two sets of pickups instead...

Does this happen to people all the time when dealing with mega-sellers? Any have crazy stories about this kind of thing?

I needed a pair of opposite polarity pickups and the seller sent me two that were the same. I asked if they could just send me one that was an opposite and they sent me three with an apology!

Once I bought a spring reverb from somebody. Liked it a lot. A couple of months later I get a package from the same guy. It's a guitar speaker, which is something I not only didn't ask for, but have no use for.

So I email the guy and he tells me he mistakenly sent me someone else's eBay win, and asks me to ship it to the guy for him. This is pretty difficult for me, since I don't have a car, so I was frustrated. Once I did send the thing off, I had to hound the guy for months to get him to pay me back for shipping it to the right person. The worst part was that, since I was not involved in the deal in eBay's eyes, I could not leave him negative feedback or do anything to complain.

Pardon my mixed tenses; it's a storytelling thing.

I would have called Fedex, and told them To come pick the thing up, and do with what they please. (return to sender ect. on his dime)
