I've been using Ebay heavily since '98, so I have developed a Spidey sense too.
I just recently bought a bass on the bay where the pics were nicely detailed, the description matched the pics exactly, and the seller had a high number of fdbk, 100% positive. Even with all that though, a voice in the back of my head said "something will be wrong with the bass, he's going to screw me somehow."
Yep.

The bass has issues needing $130 in work. Fortunately the low-ish price I paid for it in the auction meant that even with the extra repair cost I feel fine about the "total price" of the bass. But it galls me that even the supposedly good sellers are dicking people over now. Maybe my "Spidey sense" was really just "common sense" telling me that normal people will do
anything for a buck in this economy.
