I got a new computer recently, but don't have speakers yet, so I can't hear the clip.

I have a feeling that the sound you might be referring to is that of an Egyptian Oud. (rhymes with the word food)

It's an Egyptian version of a mandolin. www.kylemusic.com/category/Ouds/catid.75/top.1

I almost bought one as a photo prop, but instead bought a Turkish Saz. It sounds like a mandolin, but the two lowest strings have a guitar-like quality about them.

A Celtic harp and either an Oud or a Lute are next on my list.

Check out all the unusual instruments here. www.kylemusic.com

I could also be wrong.

Mike
