Energizer vs. Duracell vs. Imagination

So I took the Duracell out of my bass yesterday before church and put an Energizer in - it was all I had at home - not sure how old it was. I thought my bass sounded different. I know, it's all in my head, and I don't by the super nice power cord, or bass-specific cables, etc., but I thought it sounded different. I know it nuts, but I thought a fun little poll would help break up my Monday.

Knowing how old it was or the type of use it has seen might be a touch more important than which brand sounds better.

I'm guessing it was a good battery. I just went through the box and tossed old stuff.
