The English Beat

On VH1 9 pm central time they will have "reunite the band". Tonight is The English Beat. If you like ska and any of its forms, this is one of the early "rockish" versions.

I watched the 5:00 EDT showing of The Beat.
NFL is on tonight in my house.

Pretty cool show(I liked last season)...so far, I've seen two of this season's episodes. Ameer may be losing his touch. Two guys in ABC & two guys in The Beat were no-shows. In the ABC epi, Kaja's Nick Beggs helped bail out the show.

The beat isnt too shabby, I liked ABC better though, just me i guess. I liked last seasons shows alot too. FOS was good, Dramarama, and TheAlarm kicked ass!

Saw The Motels show; at least everyone showed up.

Kinda cool they did "Mission Of Mercy"(with its quasi-"Peter Gunn Theme" bass figure); used to cover that one in a band long ago. Live, it's a Rocker.

I really like the Beat.

But I don't watch TV at school. There are enough distractions as it is.

I kinda liked them, but I dug General Public. I really didn't care for the Fine Young Cannibals though.
