Entwistle skeleton arm style strap

There was a couple of old threads about people wanting a strap like John Entwistle's skeleton arm strap. I wanted one as well but couldn't find any information on it.

So I made one...




I think it turned out pretty good

Thanks. I found this pic and scaled it up in Photoshop using the scale length as a known size, then worked out what width the strap should be - 3".


Then I got Danny at DSL Straps to make me a plain black leather strap with white stitching and lambswool padding.


Then I worked on this pic in photoshop:


And printed out the arm and hand then cut all the individual pieces out, stuck them to some white foam and cut them all out with a hot knife. I assembled the pieces the way the were supposed to go and laid some masking tape over the lot so they'd stay together. I used Gorilla Glue to stick it to the leather. Once it had dried, I added some detail with a soldering iron and rounded off the edges with a Dremel and put some black paint inside the joints...
