you ever been playing at a show or where ever and you see one you dont like personally having or playing a really nice bass? I'm not talking any forums members so dont worry, i was just at a friend show today another band that happens to have members that not many people are fond of and the bass player had a really nice Zon.. i found myself pretty pissed for some reason and its not like i'm playing garbage... but whatever just wanted to see if anyone felt the same.

and let me just make it clear that i was not jealous of his Zon, his particular bass was actually on the ugly side and would have no interest, I was mad cus hes not that good a bass player and hes just a jerk.

OK, then this will kill you dead. I'm not that great of a bass player myself. Now check out my profile. Either I'm full of BS, or I own all that stuff for the sole purpose of bothering people with your viewpoint. I was going to take a run at Tom Bowlus, but I think that's a lost cause.

I got an Ibby sixer, $650 worth of bass, and I like to think I play it relatively well, but I know a guy who only has an old Squier P-bass, has only had this bass for the entire decade he's been playing, but he blows me outta the water.
