Ever have trouble with Music123?

Now, I ordered an amp while it was out of stock, expected to be in stock the 29th. All of a sudden, I get a $700 pending charge on my account, lo and behold, it is in stock again.

That was last week. The charge is gone, the amp is still in stock, and I was supposedly getting my amp in 3-5 business days. After not receiving a tracking number, I queried about that. They said I'd get it in 24-48 hours.

That was Friday.

I've gotten nothing of the sort. I feel like canceling my order and going to MF, if I didn't know they are owned by the same company.

While it's easier just ordering it online I always call and make sure the item in question is in stock and ready to ship.

I called and apparently my order has been recieved by their warehouse and is awaiting processing.

Whatever that means. My order status is in limbo, so it seems. Perhaps all these horror stories are giving me a case or paranoia. If I don't get my tracking number by Tuesday, which would have been 48 whole business hours...well then I'll have to forsake that $100 off sale.

Music123, MusiciansFriend and GuitarCenter.com are all the same warehouse and it is such a mess that Customer Service doesn't even try to make excuses for them any more.

For what it's worth, they have always made up to me any screwup they've caused over the years, given a bit of yelling on my part. It eventually works out to my favor, but it gets old sometimes.

Music123 says 'Your order should be shipped tonight and you should receive a tracking number.'

WE SHALL SEE.

I kinda-sorta stick with Zzounds, myself. I'm sure they've had their troubles, but I have ordered several thousands of $$$ worth of stuff from them without a problem.
