Anyone here built an extension cab and used a bass blocker instead of a two-way crossover to help protect the higher frequency speakers? Is it worth a flip if you did?

Almost all the commercially available bass cabs out there work this way. Just make sure the tweet never approaches resonance and you're fine.

Maybe this should be in Amps?

commercially available, sure, but I came across a free box with some speakers in it that wasn't exactly made to be an extension cabinet. It needed a LOT of modification. I already took care of it though, but thanks for the input.
