Hey TB land. I was diggin' this Bass Bash performance from David Dyson and Damian Erskine, wow what a groove!

So I'm wondering where one can attain such a wide strap as Dyson is using in this vid. It looks super comfy.

I've searched and the widest thing I've found is the Levy's 4.5". The one in the vid looks to be larger. It almost looks like an Italia strap, but I could only find those in 4" variety.

Italia will apparently make you a wider one if you want. One guy here has a few from them that are 5" wide by request.

I love my Italia 4" straps.

Sweet, thanks for the heads up. I think I'm gonna go with the standard 4" and take advantage of the BOGO goin' on right now.

I'm sure you'll be pleased. I was blown away by how nice they are.

Update:

Italia leather straps are the greatest! Super comfy and the quality is superb!

I used to use the Comfort Strapp which is good, but I much prefer the Italia. It distributes the weight better and trumps the CS in style, plus I can already feel it molding itself to my shoulder.

Hard to beat with the BOGO deal too.

+1.

I got a 4 inch and another slimmer strap from Italia, and I love them both.Fully eliminated the neck dive on one of my basses as well.

Pretty pricey, but $ well spent.

Still a damn sight cheaper that a Moody's.

I know you bought the Italia strap already (I'm ordering a 5" Italia now myself :-), but the strap David uses is a Skjold leather strap, as seen in his wiki picture. just FYI
