I stopped at gc recently and saw this guitar, im no fender guru and dont quite understand nos but for the price 1799, something didnt seem right to me.
NOS 1956 Means?
It had a custom shop and fender sticker {superlow quailty unline any fender logo i have seen, you could easily see the sticker, and rips in it and the original contour body sticker was the same.
tuners were japanese, and neck plate stamped with a serial number that was japanese. And the screws that held the pickups in were not right at all. beveled bottom, they didnt sit flat against body.
