Are there any out there? I know John Frusciante plays a little on his solo stuff and have heard EVH recorded a bunch of the bass lines for their albums. But are there any bass players who were guitarists professionally and decided to just play bass? |

About McCartney: I read somewhere (probably on Wikipedia) that he was playing guitar in The Beatles but their bass player left or was fired or something. And someone said that one of the guitarists has to play bass and Lennon and Harrison were like, "**** that ****" so McCartney had to do it. Is that a true story? |
