Heh, thought it might be fun to see if anyone else has some favorite bands that happen to have no bass player. My favorite band right now doesnt have one: Soulive. Allthough Neal Evans plays some awesome lines on his roland/B3. IMO, his left hand could be voted for bass player of the year hehehe.
So lets hear em, whos your favorite band with no bass player?

In case anyone is interested in Soulive, here's a little preview: www.synmicro.com/holdon.mp3
Maybe hearing that might lend to some agreements on the existance of such bands lol. |

You have to see these guys live - incredible! Two guys that sound like many more. Joe Russo plays drums like a possessed madman and Marco Benavente tickles and slams on the ivories with reckless abandon. I noticed they just changed their name to Organ and Drums... http://www.organanddrums.com/
A must listen.

Also, I like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the White Stripes, and there's a local band from my town called The Needies, which are basically what would come from throwing the White Stripes, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Tenacious D into a blender (Guitar/vox and drums).
