favorite improv solo

hey all. just wondering what is your favorite improv bass solo/groove you've ever heard?

i just had my music player on random and landed on the one that's been mine for a couple of years now.

Jack Casady's solo for "the ballad of you and me and pooneil" on Jefferson Airplane's live at the family dog cd. (not to be confused the family dog performance on the DVD) anyone heard it?

There's that hidden bonus track on Philadelphia Experiment. Its a li'l while after the last song and is Mcbride overdubbing himself on electric/fretted/slapping for 'Just the Two of Us'. He does some pretty awesome soloing towards the end. I also like Dave Holland on Moose the Mooch.

I'd have to the that the absolute best I've heard was from a Jazz combo at the Reno Jazz fest last year. I don't even remember who was playing though, but that guy was AMAZING on the double bass.

the best recorded bass solo/improv I've heard was on the song Poland, by Planet X.

Great feel to it.
