I just got thinking about supergroups the other day... bands that come together from musicians of well established bands...
One favorite that comes to mind is audioslave... There are more... velvet revolver, them crooked vultures...
just wondering what TBers favorites are.

| | | | I had high hopes for Animal Logic (Stewart Copeland, Stanley Clarke, a guitarist and a singer), but I was disappointed. |

How about Bela Fleck and the Flecktones? Supergroup?

| | | | Humble Pie was considered a supergroup when they formed even though they were young players. The original band lineup featured vocalist and guitarist Steve Marriott from the Small Faces, vocalist and guitarist Peter Frampton from The Herd, Greg Ridley former bassist from Spooky Tooth and seventeen-year-old drummer Jerry Shirley. |
