I am surprised nobody has posted the sex pistols b*ll*cks album cover, we used to carry it around to annoy people because in those days swearing was not as common as it is now !
I also like the frankenchrist cover by dead kennedys

SPeaking of Dead Kennedys and photoshopping, have you ever seen this?

The guy who altered this photo was apparaently a DK fan, as you can see the logo on the wall behind Oswald. According to one source the photoshopper is the guy with mustache in the back left.

Two of the very greatest ever:

Cream's Disraeli Gears

Moody Blues' A Question of Balance

Maybe the VERY greatest, with fold-out flaps to expose what's inside the iron maiden...ELP's Brain Salad Surgery

You don't know this one for sure:

La Sonora Ponceña is a great Salsa band from Puerto Rico. This album was released in 1987.

As much as I think all the fantasy artwork covers are well done, I do get bored with too many of them

...awhile ago, I wiki'd 'brain salad surgery' for its defintion...wow, that opened up some things.
H.R. Giger's artwork was softened up a bit for this cover...look just below her chin.

Here is a bit of record collector trivia about the Mom's Apple Pie album. There were actually 3 different album covers. The first one, as you posted, with the controversial "pie" was replaced with an American flag in the pie due to complaints and then the third cover was a complete pie without a slice taken out.

If anybody wants to buy a sealed copy of the original, send me a PM.
