So I'm just wondering what other people's favourite instruments are other than the good o'l bass. Mine is Trumpet!

Oh you don't have to play the instrument either.

Long before I was a bassist (been playing a year now, in a band... can I say I am a bassist now?) I was a tuba player. Studied it in College, sas my main axe. Also did trombone in jazz, and love playing euphonium. I like the low stuff.

Piano - I love piano blues more than guitar blues

Organ - no question about that B-3 sound. An old keyboardist I worked with had an old C-V. Triple percussions on that baby

Violin

cello it is one of the most beutiful sounding instruments, in acoustic folk i prefer it to classical though such as damien rice or just used to boost emotion of songs eg mad world

Chapman stick. Wish I had hid the bass under the bed for a couple of years and concentrated on it.

Elemetal, we share the same passion for trumpet! I don't play it and having still to work a lot on bass, there's a remote possibility I'll learn it in this life.

Funny enough I love the Hammond sound as well (it was quoted above)

The Neusfluit.

A relatively unknown instrument that comes out of the northern areas between France and Germany, used in a good amount of traditional music. Dating back to the mid 6th century.
