Today I'll go with...The Doors.
A really cool one worth checking out if you haven't seen it is 1 Giant Leap. These 2 guys traveled around the world w/ a digital video camera a laptop and some mics. They recorded people playing their native music/instruments and they set it all to short stories. I'm pretty sure they did everything with Logic and Final Cut (Apple must love them). They cover some really deep topics and you get to hear some interesting insight from random people like Dennis Hopper & Brian Eno. I think they either won a Grammy or at least got nominated. It's very positive - everybody should see it once.

That Thing You Do
Rockstar

Both are pretty accurate representations of what it's like to be in a garage band. Well, at least in my experience.

Still Crazy is actually really funny, and the bass player plays a big role.

I found it in the discount bin, is it big anywhere? Are they really british? Really good regardless.

It was the first one to come to my mind. I like Ray a lot too. It's refreshing to see an actor actually playing his instrument. For a perfect example of fake-playing going horribly wrong, see Police Academy 4, where the "guitarist" actually plays with his guitar facing backwards. That is, the springs in the back are facing out.
