feedback on new shirt design

Let me know what you guys think. Shirts would most likely be a dark grey. Still working on the way we're going to do the band's name. We're a metal/hardcore band.

Just make sure the grey of the shirt isn't so dark that the black ink doesn't get lost.

Personally, I'd put the band name on the back, across the shoulders. It's a cool design; there is no need to try and cram something else on the front.

Looks great. Put the band name in simple block letters, really small between the snake's teeth.

The length of the name could make a difference whether or not it would fit nicely somewhere on the front.

Many bands use names that are long, and this (along with marquees and the like) is where it could prove to be troublesome.

thanks guys, I'm glad you like it. I'll see how "readable" the font he uses ends up being. If it's messy we'll go with a larger one possibly on the back as suggested. If it's easy to read when it's small then between the snake heads sounds like a good spot.

IMO, rather than between the snakes heads, Id put it slightly lower, and kind of across the snakes "necks" if you will. Itd make a good chest piece, and gives room for a slightly larger design.

If nto that, I agree with putting the name on the back.

Gray shirt. Lighter grey printing. Or kakhi green shirt with lighter print, etc.

I'm feeling a tone on tone vibe from it.

I'd only buy it if it came in a long-sleeve thermal shirt variant - the design is good, so if you ever make a thermal out of it, by all means, tell me.

Print white on black, as a metal band you'll sell more.

Good design, but a tough one to add a band logo to... Just to throw out an idea, consider using these snakes as the centerpiece of a fake liquor label design. Add FOUL SPIRITS in big letters somewhere, and smaller text that says something like "110% alcohol by volume, traditionally fermented and distilled from 100% organic Ohio snake venom" or whatever would fit your sound, then some lines as a border around it.

I heard that. Unfortunately our print shop doesn't have a UV dryer, which is needed to dry white ink on a black shirt.

I'd love to know how to print on thermals and wife beaters.

the negative space below the snake heads is somewhat distracting, otherwise it's really strong
