Fender Bass Cables?

A new product I stumbled upon while visiting their site. Specifically designed with bass frequencies in mind.

I'm thinking Fender is one of those companies that would actually have the resources/will to make something like this. At the same time, I'm wondering if the difference is at all audible?

Pure BS. Lucky for Fender, and other magic cable makers, there's a sucker born every minute.

Yes, it IS a more expensive cable.

There's a reason copper is used. It's a great conductor.

However, no matter what material your cables are made out of, the windings in your pickups are copper, wires in your bass, wires in your amp, and the wires in the voice coil in your speakers.

Your signal is only as good as it's weakest point.

I really like the look of these cables.
Might just get a 12ft one for the look. Not expecting miracles though.

The ONLY cable I've EVER had fail was a Fender instrument cable.

If it's a nicely made cable that has a nice warranty-i'd be interested. I play Monster cables-not because of all the mumbo jumbo they spout about the special dodads inside of em. Rather, they have a killer warranty, are made nicely, and i like being able to walk into a GC and exchange a cable that has served nicely until it's death for a brand new one. If the Fender has that same kind of warranty, it may be worth the money. However, don't buy it for the mumbo jumbo.

My guitarist uses them all the time.......he buys about two or three a year because they stop working or become unreliable.

I really don't think anyone could actually hear the difference between a cable made with bass frequencys in mind, and one without...
