| | | | They did a pretty nice job with Gretsch which was pretty much the only company I cared about them buying out. Some people even said the guitars got better. It does seem like Fender is buying everything though, pretty much a company a year, or maybe even more. |

In my opinion, Gibson gave the buyout a bad name. Not like they're the first or anything, but I hear more "Pre-Gibson" than any other "pre" prefix.
