not sure if this is where to ask, anyone have experience with these. They are the fender/rhodes pianos (the doors used them) small in a suit case. Can they be hooked up to a bass amp or do they need a keyboard amp. Thanks!!!

Use a bass amp. They gave a pretty convincing bass tone. I wouldn't mind having one now, tho' I hated them at the time.

Keyboard amp, definitely.

My keyboard player has been using one for years.

Theres's a local band in the Motown area caleed "The Muggs", there bass player had a stroke a few years ago. Tony worked on his left hand and taught himself to play bass on a rhodes, he still dosen't have use of his right hand, but he gets a pretty convincing sound with his rhodes and a bass amp. These guys are a pretty good blues rock band. I saw them blow mountain off the stage last year.

Didn't everyone?

As far as amps, did they even have "Keyboard" amps back in the daze of The Doors?
My vote is for a '60s Bassman with the 2x12 cab.
