It finally happened - another bass player complimented my tone

Well, I never thought it would happen but it has. I just got in and found a Facebook message from the bass player in a band that opened for my band a couple of months ago. He said he'd been trying to sort out his tone for ages and wanted to know how I'd achieved mine. I wasn't ashamed to admit it's all down to a Behringer BDI-21. Cheap as you like so you're not upset when some idiot kicks beer all over it.

I've signed to indies, majors, toured all over the world and watched the sun rise over Mount Fuji but this is a true first, somebody thought my tone was good enough to imitate.

I am vanquished.

Now that seems like a treat.

Awesome to hear of this man! I am still on the search for my tone, but I am sure it will come one day!

Nothing like getting a compliment on something you are so passionate about. Kudos!

Thank you sir! I never thought tone nirvana would come at such a cheap price. And yes, Mount Fuji was a treat. Maybe it was the UNBELIEVABLE jat lag and being several thousand miles from the love of my life, but I got a little tearful. I thoroughly recommend you see it at least once in your life.

Officially added to the list:
1) Aurora Borealis
2) Greek Island of Delos
3) Pompeii
4) Sunrise over Mount Fuji

I would only truly appreciate these moments to the maximum if I could spend it with my loved one.
