Finding "band members" that are like me... read plz

Hi,

I'm 21 years old, and wanting to start jamming with peoples. I've been playing about 2 years now and i dont suck like i did in the beginning of my "carreer", but still im not a bassmaster of any kind and think i never will become 1. But that's not my problem.

My problem is that i dont know much "real" musicians that i like, like friends (only 1 friend plays guitar) and only a guitarist and bassist will get you almost nowhere.

So ive been looking and playing some with that guitarists dude and we found a singer, crappy as he might be at singing. But hes a cool dude and has some kind of X-factor which is very nice.

so now we need a drummer.... but where do you get one? on which tree do they grow? or something?

and the real question is..... for a fun band... how far will you be willing to search for something that is not that common in your enviroment?

i personally think im never going to find a drummer dude/chick which is to my liking and play the music we 3 guys like.... can some1 plz give me some positive feedback or something?
im getting a bit " " or " "

thnq in advance

Yes.

When demand outstrips supply you can either move to where there is more supply or expand your search, or lower your standards on what you demand, especially when it's a fun band to get some live play experience.

Once you have the experience and are in a position to demand, supply usually follows

Good luck.

Drummers don't grow on trees, they grow in the dirt like potatos.
