finding concerts

I've started to get back into looking for some gigs to go to, but searching online hasn't really helped

I live in North Central Massachusetts and my tastes are jazz, progressive rock, classic rock

If there are any tips to look for concerts or websites/sources of information that would be quite helpful

Hi Jake, try wormtown.org, it seems to fit the bill regarding the local Worcester music scene. Or you may want to try Bill McCarthy's Open Mic World (http://www.angelfire.com/ma2/openmcc/) if you're interested in the open mic scene.

i live in Shirley (near to fitchburg/leominster), i have never heard of Spencer before
