finishing a Moses neck??

Not sure if this is the right place for this....

I was wondering if it was possible to finish the headstock of a Moses Graphite neck. I am thinking of getting one of their necks for a project bass....and I hope it would be possible to finish the headstock to match the body. Would a finish work on graphite?

sure i don't see why not. paint can pretty much go on any solid material. i just don't know if graphite has any pores.

I'd think that it wouldn't work well. My best guess is the paint / finish would likely chip / peel off real easy as it can't bond with the neck. But I don't know for sure - I'd email Moses.

are moses headstocks hollow or solid? do you think I can shape it to make a customized headstock?
