Just found from youtube their first gig! Rage Against The Machine - First Public Performance (Full Concert) - YouTube
"I can only imagine what was going through the heads of the people just walking by and not looking back at the band. "Hmmm, my choices - go to my deli because I'm really hungry, OR - watch a group whose iconoclastic mark on not only subversive music but the entirety of heavy metal and its many schisms will soon obliterate every ounce of competition and leave a trail of originality not seen since The Sex Pistols. No no no, a cold turkey sandwich sounds pretty damn good right now. Yeah." - from comments |

I only checked them out because my friend had gone to high school with the drummer and he told me to go watch them.
The last time I saw them, I was standing in the wings on stage at the base of Mt. Fuji watching them rock 35,000 people.
