What was the first rock band/musician to use drop d? Was it originally rockabilly bands that used drop d country-style? If so, then who was the first to use it for one-finger powerchords?
I did a search for this on both TB and google, but everything with the words "drop" or "first" comes up, so sorry if this has been covered elsewhere.
