First Them Crooked Vultures Single

Sign in to disble this ad
For those that don't know, Them Crooked Vultures is the latest supergroup consisting of Josh Homme (Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age), and of course, the legendary John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin, duh). They released a single as of today, and it's the first piece of studio recordings they have released that is longer than 40 seconds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7_vH3H8LPI
It's good stuff, with a great bassline. I highly recommend that if you haven't heard Them Crooked Vultures, you check out the bootlegs. They truly are a supergroup.

On a side note, new Wolfmother album today!

I like it. Pretty cool song. I hope the non youtube version sounds a bit better, but the basics of it I like.

Actually, there's a version up on SoundCloud that sounds a lot better. Just search "crookedvultures" and it comes with a bit of studio stuff and an interview

Nice. I'm really hoping I'm going to see them in Seattle. There's actually a great chance I'll be seeing both them and Wolfmother in the same weekend, in the same venue no less haha.
