The first time I saw The Who - wanna see some pictures?

March 23, 1968 at Code One in Ft Lauderdale, FL. I was 13 and attended with my then drummer. We stood right up against the stage right in front of Ox. I doubt I paid more than $2-3 to get in. Anyhoo, I was surfin and stumbled across some pictures that were taken that very night and thought some of you guys might enjoy seeing them.

Needless to say the show left quite an impression on us.

DANG, BRO!!!

You saw Cream live when they were young. The PA shut down and you heard Jack's voice above the drums.

Then you saw The Who in 1968.

Jerry Jemmott ate dinner at your house.

I wanna be Pedro!!

All that's true my brother but in the immortal words of The Temptations, 'I still can't get next to you.'

I wis I could have seen the Who in 1968... They were at the top of their game then, IMO...

Thanks,Pedro!

I used to see the Who a lot in 1968-71.Caught them whenever I could.First time I saw them was 1968.They were the opening band(along with the Blues Magoos who had electric flashing light sport jackets!) for Herman's Hermits. That was at the old Philadelphia Convention center.Saw them again that year at the Fillmore east in New York on my 15th birthday.Saw them yet again in '68 at San Diego Community Concourse.

Those pics bring back a lot of memories!
