I wasn't sure if this was Misc. or OT because it doesn't pertain to bass... Been here since 2002 and just now left the "Basses" forum a bit ago, you can tell !!!

Wow, was so much fun LOL, i was embarrassed but, he mentioned how nervous he was his first time, and right before I sang he turned around, tried to close the window and told me to turn it up (Was singing along) loud and he'd listen for me, lol... I wasn't that nervous.

But he told me with the most serious expression i've ever seen on his face "You know the saying, if its not broke dont fix it? Well, you have a natural singing voice with a lot of soul (I sang Otis Redding)"

He wants me to look into black singers, he also after hearing me decided he wanted to find my range, so he sat at the keyboard and i went with it, apparently I almost have a 3 octave range, which I didn't know..

He wants me to sing him "you've lost that Loving feeling" next week for him, he thinks it would suit me very well, the low and high parts.

Im all proud of myself !!! Was so much fun. Really looking forward to this.
