Florian Schneider left kraftwerk ?

There is word going round that Florian Schneider has left Kraftwerk. Apprently he wasn't seen at their last concert, which was at some nightclub in the US. There is no official info on the topic but that'd be really crap if he has

Hmm yeah, that would be a bummer. I love Kraftwerk but I haven't really kept up with them in recent years.

See, that is my point

I just can't see there actually being kraftwerk without him. I may only be 17 but i'm a huge fan and hoped that one day i'd witness them play, that just wouldn't be the same without Florian.

No more Florian

According to a person working at the soundboard at Kraftwerk's Milwaukee show on April 20, 2008 at the Eagles Ballroom, a person who spoke German and just a little English, Florian Schneider is no longer a member of Kraftwerk

Wow that's a drag. Aside from the first few albums, I'm not too big a Kraftwerk fan, but have a huge amount of respect for them. I just liked them more as an experimental rock band than electronica pioneers.

Much as I love Kraftwerk, they're finished in my eyes. They might have used electronics but at the end of the day they were concert musicians who mucked around with computers. Nothing more
