Unhappy Flying with my bass??!?!

Sign in to disble this ad
I might be going up to my aunt's house in Washington (state) for new year's, and I want to bring my bass with me, but there's a possibility we might fly there, and I am REALLY not looking forward to dealing with those blank-blankers, I have a habbit of making "promises" (to kill the mo-fo who muffs up any of my stuff).

Anyone got any ideas on how to safely transport my bass, besides besides putting it in the hardshel case and THEN into a 5' H x 3' W x 3' L box completely filled with styrofoam "popcorn"?

I think Victor Wooten's Bass Nature Camp website has a whole page about this. I'll see if I can find it for ya.
