Foam rubber in Comfort Strapps---where to buy?

Sign in to disble this ad
I want to buy a piece of that really thick black foam that Comfort Strapp uses, only a couple inches wider. The only place on the web I've found that has it is a place called Reed Rubber, but they sell to manufacturers and industry pros and seem like they couldn't be bothered to sell me a 5 or 6 inch piece. So if any of you know where to get it, thanks in advance.

Have you tried your local stores? I think you may be able to find a store locally that would sell that kind of material. Is it foam rubber as in the stuff pool toys/mats are made from? Surely a local store would have it.

Otherwise, I doubt the rubber would be worth the money it costs to post it from an online store...

Only hardware, fabric, and crafts stores. That's not an easy thing to find, though. I find things that are kinda sort of in the ballpark but ultimately won't work for one reason or another.

Yes. Rubber, neoprene, it's all the same to me.

Go to Value Village or St. Vincents and look for old wetsuits. There should be plenty in a top or pants.

Yoga mats are a dense closed cell rubber, you can find them almost every department or sporting goods stores. maybe $10-12. Easy enough to cut up to whatever you need.

Yoga mats aren't NEARLY as thick as the wetsuit neoprene that Comfort Strapps use...
