So last night was our company's annual holiday party, and the last one I would MC (I have 7 days left to work). During the presentations, the new boss brought out a bass case, and said they were giving it to me as a retirement present. So I opened the case, and there it was, an Epiphone EB-0 copy. Then one of my partners stepped up and said, "Actually, that's my daughter's bass. We want you to have one custom-built by the builder of your choice." They had a picture of one of those $50,000 Ritters with the diamond knobs and gold fretboard scrolling (they had no idea), and I said, "Well, I'm going to be saving you guys a lot of money by getting a Fodera." So I'm looking for one already built, but I may order one to my specs.

I'm open to suggestions on body wood and top. It'll be a double-cut. I'm looking for a fairly modern but somewhat warm and full sound.
