Did anyone else watch this on BBC 1 last night ?
Great stuff ! Dawn French as Brittany Spears alone was worth watching it for.
They also spoofed ABBA, Bros (When will I be taken seriously), Madonna, the Corrs ("we love female droning, we're the pretty in cloning"), Cher (changing hair style every five seconds, loosing wig, loosing false teeth), ...
But my favourite was "The Poo Stripes" with a rendition of Seven Nation Army in wich the tempo randomly varied from 20 to 200 bpm, and "Jack" trying hopelessly to keep up. It ended with Jack having to beat Meg away from the mic stand with his guitar, trying to prevent her from singing

For those who missed it, it's in two parts, part two will probably be aired next friday.

damn, now that I'd have liked to have seen

I saw it - the 'Poo Stripes' were inspired! (Meg seeming to randomly fall asleep in the middle of the song, and complaining her arms were tired!)

The Britney and Madonna were great too.

Can't wait for the next one!
