| Friggin Brown Out!

As some of you may know, but it's been pretty friggin hot here in Southern Ontario. For a few weeks power utilities have been warning of black outs, or brown outs. (Which BTW it totally sucks when they're asking residents to conserve power, and I see big buildings including govt ones lit up all night, but I digress.)
Anyway, we were in the middle of a great practice last night when all of a sudden the lights go out, and come back on totally dim. All the amps etc. shut off, and the few fans we had running came back barely spinning. It was pretty weird - the whole neighborhood around our jam space was dim. I've heard about brown outs, but never experienced one. Total bummer as they might say in the 80's - it was a great session, and we hadn't been together in a few weeks so I was really looking forward to it. Oh well, at least we got a few hours in before.
