fun with pickguards

today i got back my pickguard back from a friend, who was 'artsing' it up. its a squire j bass i got for $100, so i figured what the heck. might as well, i already re-did the electronics. sorry for the bad pictures, its my computer camera (thats rex morgan btw). if anyone else has unique pickguards, please post pictures!!

Wow, that's really cool looking! The black & white of the newspaper clippings goes very well with the black finish of the bass. I'm glad you didn't go with color

yep its decopage...with newspaper and a few pieces of photograph...the pickguard was just a basic white before.

i was actually going to have her draw a collage in black pen on the pickguard, but she suggested newspaper instead.
