FUNKY BANDS

can anyone suggest bands with a funk feel like soulive and lettuce? ... that really energetic funk jazz ish sound lol (not the best musical description)

so far ive come across:

* lettuce
* galactic
* greyboy allstars
* liquid soul

If you haven't yet, sign in to pandora.com and start a play list off of soulive, Pandora will find some excellent matches for you. Let it go for a couple hours and you'll have more than you or your bankroll can handle.

Off the top of my head I think of Down To The Bone and Stanton Moore. Stanton is the drummer for Galactic, has a couple good solo albums. Heck try Galactic, too.
